Maybe I was out of line recognizing the subtexts of the presentation of a public sculpture.
I posted a very diplomatic comment on designboom.com about the architect’s photos being filled with white people, and they removed my comment. I find this to be very offensive, because there’s no reason for an architect to present the museum or the neighborhood as some kind of “whites only” zone… it’s completely unrealistic.

Artists and designers need to be held accountable for the choices the make. Apparently this designer only wants a white audience for their work. Choosing to put all white people in a digital rendering of an exhibition is racist. Also the “neighborhood” rendering is laughable, its literally whitewashing and erasing the people who actually live there.
And of course design boom wouldn’t want anyone discussing this on their site. Its basically a vanity blog, not a place for criticism and thought.
